Fred's Hickory Inn is our favorite place to eat. It starts with great people and certainly Sherry Mendenhall has surrounded herself with great people who have a passion for, not only food, but also serving others. People who always greet my family with a smile - keep our tea glasses full, are a welcome sight. The old fashioned smoke-house is another reason we frequent Fred's Hickory Inn. Today, it is a rare treat to experience high quality steaks; and meats that are smoked the old-fashioned way, just like they did many years ago.

Fred's Hickory Inn's specialty is "Smoked Sirloin". It is a one-of-a-kind treat; tender and flavorful each and every time. One last thing I would not want to forget to mention is, SUNDAY BRUNCH!!!! From Sherry's own Southern Fried Chicken, to a great spread of desserts (cheesecake the way it should be...) you won't get this experience anywhere else in northwest Arkansas.

We are hardly out of the driveway before we are planning our next dining experience at Fred's Hickory Inn. Great Job Sherry, Charlotte, Amos and crew - we appreciate Fred's Hickory Inn!

Sherry Mendenhall & Team: The Premier Concepts, LLC team was looking for a healthier way of eating than the typical lunch choices on the given 1 hour lunch most of us have. Bentonville has changed so much over the recent years; our lunch hour is half-over before we get our food in most places. Worse than that, many of us are choosing to eat "fast food" which isn't so fast, nor is it healthy.

We decided to have lunch 3 times a week in Premier's office. We reviewed the menu's of all restaurants we thought might be able to provide a healthy meal, and also give us the hour break we used to enjoy with each other, and need. It was an easy choice once we compared all the menu's from the various restaurants. Fred's Hickory Inn had several salads to choose from, all of which we could get the "salad-dressing" on the side. They also offered several healthy meat choices, like their world-famous Smoked Sirloin (7oz), which comes with a side salad. They also have everyone's favorite, Grilled Chicken Breast.

Today 35 of our team eats lunch in the office 3 times a week and Fred's Hickory Inn provides it all. That is over 420 lunches per month!

We also use a local delivery company, owned by Mike Sevak, "Errand's Express" [www.expresserrands.net] to pick up our lunch as too often we are quite busy right up to the lunch-hour.

I moved to Bentonville, Arkansas in 1983 to work as a regional VP for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and was quickly introduced to Fred's Hickory Inn by people I worked with who had been eating there for many years! I have averaged 3 meals a week at Fred's for the past 23 years! Everyone who works there is committed to delivering great, friendly customer service and the food is unbelievable! I have taken family, friends, business people, and clients from other countries to Fred's for lunch and dinner, and they all rave about the quality of the food and menu selections. You can never go wrong with a Fred's steak and salad with creamy parmesan dressing, but always start with a rack of ribs or stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer! However, save some room for the unbelievable selection of homemade desserts such as peach or blackberry cobbler, famous Fred's cheesecake, or one of the many chocolate dessert selections. Treat your family, friends or business associates to the best. Go to Fred's Hickory Inn!
